If you were to look inside my bag right now, it would be a complete disaster. I could fake it and tell you I am super organized but let’s be honest – I’m totally not! I pretty much gave up on diaper bags a while ago (unless we are traveling, in which case my black one makes an appearance) so aside from diapers, wipes and other baby essentials, what I carry inside my bag usually changes on a monthly basis. Between B’s favorite treat of the month (he’s obsessed with mints and fruity candy canes right now!) and my favorite lipstick shade for the season, what you could find in my bag is always rotating. I get excited to share some of my latest finds with you guys and my current favorite all just happen to be under $20. 🙂 Double bonus, right?!

1. During the month of December I practically live in red lipstick for the holidays, but after Christmas hits I’m onto a new shade for January before opting back to red for Valentine’s Day. One of my favorite shades right now is this pretty plum Avon Ultra Color Indulgence Lip Color (under $10). It’s one of the most moisturizing lipsticks I own which is huge for me in the winter because I feel like my lips get chapped so easily! I’m also loving the Avon Big & False Lash Volume Mascara (under $10) which really lengthens and thickens your lashes. It’s a great on-the-go mascara because in one application you get those bold lush lashes. It’s my favorite mascara, especially for my bottom lashes!

2. I’m also having a major moment with fur pom poms right now. I love what an easy element they are to add to your look to coordinate with other colors in your ensemble. If you don’t have one you need one! There are options at all different price points. I got mine for under $6.

3. Another drawback of the dry winter weather is my hands! They get twice as dry in the winter! I got this lotion/shampoo set when we were staying at the Montage a few months ago and I am so obsessed with the smell that I ordered the travel sizes when I got home to carry around in my purse. I also switch between this and the Honest shampoo for Beckam. He has super sensitive skin and those two are the only options I’ve found so far that don’t irritate his skin. I like the way this one smells a little more – tie breaker! 🙂

4. I have used this hair powder for a while but I finally got a travel size to keep in my purse. It gives so much texture to your hair. It’s literally one of my favorite hair products, hands down. The non-travel size is $27 but the little travel one (0.2 ounces) is under $15. I would say get both! One for your purse and one for the house. I’ve loved having one designated for my purse so I don’t have to think twice about taking it out on the go or where I left it last.

What are some things in your bag at the moment? Also if you missed it I did a Q&A on Instagram and answered the questions on snapchat: @hellofashblog. It was so fun sharing a little more of my personal life. You can see the story on snapchat still through today 🙂

Love that burgundy and grey are still on trend! Lip balm is something I have to have this time of year. I am also loving oil for my hair to keep the static away…I use Marula Light Hair Treatment & Styling Oil (you can get it at Sephora)
