There’s only one holiday that puts you at risk from over-excited pinchers, so with March 17th right around the corner I wanted to share some outfit inspiration to tie green into your St. Patrick’s Day look.  Whether you can’t get enough of green, or tend to gravitate more towards neutrals, here are 6 St. Patrick’s Day outfits that work for the office, lounging at home, or date night.

DETAILS: GREEN LUCKY HOODIE (UNDER $75) | NUDE BODYSUIT (UNDER $20) | DISTRESSED DENIM | NUDE HEELS

Add a bright green, graphic detail to a classic ensemble. I designed this hoodie and am obsessed with the back detail! Wear it with jeans and sneakers during the day or with a bodysuit and pumps to transition it for a fun night out.

This olive green top (under $50) works great for the office or a casual day out.

DETAILS: GREEN V-NECK TOP (UNDER $50) | OLIVE BOMBER (UNDER $100 – SIMILAR HERE)  | GREY SATIN JOGGERS | LEOPARD PRINT PUMPS

For an updated spin on festive dressing that’s office-appropriate, stick to greens that have more neutral or softer tones. Olive is a great versatile color that is subtle enough for work but is still festive for dinner or drinks afterwards. Love this olive top paired with a satin jogger and a bomber to give the look more of an edge.

DETAILS: LUCKY SWEATSHIRT  | DISTRESSED DENIM | NUDE PUMPS | CHAIR | RUG

Keep it simple and casual with ILY Lucky sweatshirt and heels.

Even the most subtle hint of green can save you from the most over-excited pinchers, so if green isn’t your thing stick to simple accents. I swiped this satin belt from another coat I own to bring in a subtle green tone. I love how it elevates a camel jacket. You can also add a silk neck scarf or statement bag in green for St. Patrick’s Day spin on a simple, chic look.

DETAILS: OATMEAL OFF-THE-SHOULDER SWEATSHIRT (UNDER $100) | CAMO JOGGERS  (UNDER $100) | SLIPPERS (UNDER $30)

You can also incorporate green into your lounge look. These camo joggers are a subtle way to incorporate green, plus still soft and cozy in a pulled together look.

DETAILS: GREEN TRENCH | WHITE SLEEVELESS TOP | LEATHER LEGGINGS | SNEAKERS | BASEBALL CAP

Ok this look was on my blog last week (read more here), but it worked for this post too 🙂 Never underestimate the power of one great layer in green.  You can throw it over even the simplest white top and black leggings and instantly pull your outfit into the perfect St. Patrick’s Day ensemble. Dress it up with pumps for a fun night to celebrate or dress it down with a baseball cap and sneakers for an easy, streetwear look.
