10 Recent Amazon Purchases I’m Loving (and what I returned!)

Been seeing a shift to more v-neck sweaters lately and have been on the hunt for one I love. I ordered a few different sweaters and LOVED this one the most, I also grabbed it in navy.

I also tried this one and returned it. The material felt thin and a little scratchy. I always try to really hunt and find my favorites before I share anything. Not every order is a win, but it makes the good finds like this sweater so much better!

Paired the outfit with these light wash jeans I wear on repeat and this bag also from amazon thats under $100!

Side note: I recently got this liquid eye shadow (shade: 22M cashew) & I’m obsessed! Not from Amazon but I wanted to be sure to share! Its so creamy and easy to put on. Love all the neutral color options!

These sports plush stuffies!! I’m obsessed – they are SO cute! Jellycat makes a super similar version thats way more expensive like $60 a piece! so I was so excited to find these under $20. I thought they would make such a cute Valentines gift for kids!

This one piece brown swimsuit is a major win – obsessed!! Holds you in and super flattering and just overall such a great mom swimsuit. All items including these white coverup pants, jelly sandals and sun hat linked here.

These thongs! I feel like I’ve tried so many and these are so buttery sofy, stretchy and comfortable and a great price point. They really do feel better than skims!

That reminds me I just got these wireless ribbed bras and I’m OBSESSED! So comfy for every day wear.

I’ve also been on the hunt for a bikini brief underwear and tried these and didn’t like them. I am going to keep searching and will let you know when I find something I love as much as this thong version! The hunt continues!

This light blue fleece half zip pull over is a free people look for less! It comes in a bunch of fun colors – I’m wearing size small.

If you haven’t already – its time to order the kids class party Valentines!! I went with these squishy sparkly balls. They feel like needohs and all my kids love them. Rounded up some other valentines ideas here.

This every day basic striped tee! comes in lots of colors.

This matching striped lounge set has been a recent best seller for good reason – its so comfy and under $50! Comes in a few colors, I have and love the light gray …but I am loving this pink color for Valentines season! Wearing size small. My slippers are so cozy & from amazon too!

Like everyone I am in fitness mode for the new year, so I just ordered a few cute new workout tanks. Super affordable and come in a bunch of cute colors! Linked them all here.

I’ve been on a major amazon shopping spree lately. I’ve been craving new pieces for fall but wanting to keep it affordable. I’m so excited because I’ve found the cutest things…I had to share!

This brown purse is so good for fall and is a recent bestseller – its under $100! And this striped shirt is so good I ordered it in multiple colors.

I also just saw my new fave super soft pajamas are on sale 30% off this week! They are so cute and come in a bunch of different colors and prints. Now under $20! Love these for a teen girl too.

I wore this brown polka dot dress recently and now I’m loving all things polka dot– polka dots are trending! This dress is a great transitional fall piece, easy to layer with a denim jacket, etc as it the weather cools down.

I’ve been really into layered necklaces lately and loving these – they are under $15 each!

I’m so happy boat shoes are back! This brown leather pair is more of a splurge but they are a great quality, investment pair. I’m obsessed with the multi colored laces! I linked some more affordable pairs too.

I’ve been wearing these sunglasses on repeat! I wore them on my recent trips to Vermont and Hawaii and now loving them for back in Utah as fall approaches. The best part – they are under $15!!

I just got these ribbed knit socks and they are so cozy and perfect for fall! Love that they are soft and cozy but still look polished. Comes in a 5 pack for under $10!

Ok, I’m officially obsessed—these pants are SO good. They are so good I had to get multiple colors. Cozy but still put-together

They run true to size, I’m a little under 5’7” and wear the regular length. Love that they come in short and tall versions too! One of the best parts they don’t wrinkle.

100/10 recommend these pants!

Mara and I were out shopping this week and I got the softest waffle zip up for her. I ended up loving it so much I got one for me too. I wish I could explain the cozy softness level in words but wow it’s seriously amazing!! And on sale right now! (She got a size xs I got a medium) I also grabbed her this dress and this button up shirt for Wes – he loves it!

Life Lately – Finds I’m Loving + Kids Back to School

I can’t believe its the end of summer break for my family! Ollie starts kindergarten next week and I just can’t believe it. Our last baby going into school full time. We wrapped up the end of summer break at lake Powell. We went boating, tuning and surfing. it’s been a couple years since we’ve been here – it’s so beautiful! If you’ve never been, there’s no lake like it! Feels like you’re in another planet.

Now I am in full back to school mode and feeling ready for transitioning my closet to fall!! Craving feeling cozy again. Excited I just found this suede bucket bag that’s really similar to the Madewell bag I wore on repeat last year, and its on sale 40% off! I just got this quarter zip for under $30 and its such a great transitional piece. These cami tanks I’ve still been wearing on repeat. I’ve loved them for summer and they will be perfect under sweatshirts this fall.

I hope you all are enjoying the end of your summers, or some slower days if school has started back for you! Excited to share more fall content soon!

I recently got these quarter zip pullovers and love them so much! I got both the ribbed version and the smoother version. They remind of of Varley for a fraction of the price! They work perfect with shorts now and I’ll wear them with jeans or sweatpants this fall. The full top + shorts set here is under $50!

Still getting lots of wear out of these wide leg white pants! These tanks I’ve still been wearing on repeat. Love that they are so thick – double lined and smooth you out. The kids were heading out with their friends the other night and they looked so cute I snapped a pic. Wes loves these oversized basic tees. Cody loves them too and I wear them as oversized comfy tees. I really like the brown one! They are such a great basic staple and they are under $10! They come in a bunch of colors. Mara loves these double lined camis I have too so we grabbed her a couple colors! She wore the black one like 5 days of the week 😂 These are the same jeans I linked above that she has in another color and loves!

Guys I’m so excited to share I’m designing a collection with Amazon! You guys know how much I love hunting for good amazon finds, it was so fun getting to work with them to design my own collection. It’s been a minute since I’ve gotten to do some designing! Those of you guys who have been following for a long time probably remember my clothing line, ILY Couture. I actually started ILY before I even started my blog. It originally started after I made my own wedding hair piece and started selling them, then I made our viral ‘wifey’ tee, then when I was pregnant with Beckam it was the Preggers tee followed by all our Mom pieces. I really loved having my own line and being able to be creative and also basically source or create pieces that I wanted that I couldn’t find anywhere else.

As my blog and influencer platform took off, I felt torn in too many different directions – between ILY, the blog, and trying to be present with the kids and family, I felt like I was being spread too thin.

I realized I was more passionate about creating content and connecting with my community. I’ve always believed in following your passions, and even though at the time Ily was a more stable job than being an influencer, I just loved the influencer side more. It was sad to see everything we had built come to an end but even years later I still feel like I made the right decision.

One of the things I miss the most with Ily is the creative side and the ability to basically design or create pieces that I can envision perfectly in my mind but can’t find anywhere else available to purchase.

So when Amazon reached out about an opportunity to do a Drop collection with them I was so excited! It was the perfect opportunity to scratch that itch and be able to design some new pieces that I felt were missing from my wardrobe. And the icing on the cake – I got to do a collection for fall!! My absolute favorite style season. I’m so excited about how the prints and pieces came together! I’ve shared a few sneak peeks on instagram here, here and here.

The Fall Amazon Prime Day event runs today and tomorrow and has so many great pieces to get you on track for fall, whether in fashion trends, beauty must-haves, home finds and more. AIRPODS – I have the worst luck with my airpods, either losing them or breaking one of them, etc. So I don’t feel as guilty replacing them when they are in sale.

ELEMIS CLEANSER – This is one of my favorite cleansers. I also love their cleansing balms. Stocking up on this one.

LANIEGE LIP BALM – These are my favorite lip balm – buying one for me and multiple as stocking stuffers!

TAN SLIPPERS – Why do I feel like I can never have enough slippers? I live in them around the house all year long and love sliding into a fresh, fluffy new pair.

LIVING PROOF TEXTURE SPRAY & DRY SHAMPOO: Texture spray is my #1 fave product when I’m trying to go full volume. Another great brand included in the Fall Amazon Prime Day Sale.

ANASTASIA BROW PENCIL: Another cult favorite on sale!

STILA EYELINER: For those bold winged liner looks this fall.

VITAMIN C: Heard amazing things about this brand! Quality Vitamin C can get $$ so it’s a great time to save.

Summer nights with the boys – we went out biking and skateboarding the other night and let the kids stay up late. June is flying by and I’m like oh man Father’s Day is JUST around the corner.

I picked out some splurge-worthy Father’s Day gift ideas too. I loved the idea of a pizza oven for the backyard – would be such a fun activity for the kids to do with Cody. I am also obsessed with the idea of this floating golf turf! We don’t really golf but I feel like all of my friends husbands do, and even though we don’t really know what we’re doing I could see us having hours of fun getting competitive with this at the pool or lake. Since Cody likes to workout everyday, I thought these items like the handheld massage gun for muscle soreness and this blender & hydration set are perfect since he always makes a protein shake right after. Happy Monday! Summer is officially here with the kids out of school now and all the warm days we’ve been having. I’ve been pulling out some of my favorite pieces from last summer and also found a few new ones I’m loving for the season, so I wanted to share some of my most-loved and also some of you guys’ most loved that are were the best sellers. It’s such a versatile activewear set that can go from the gym to a casual everyday outfit. I’ve been loving the matching sets paired with oversized blazers (the perfect layer to help transition between season!) I’m obsessed with this oversized pastel blazer I found on Amazon for under $60! Amazon Toddler Accessories I Can’t Travel Without

One of my favorite things to do is travel as a family. We travel quite a bit for work, and fun, we have tried so many different gadgets I wanted to put a list together of my tried and true favorites. There have been so many amazing travel accessories for kids over the years that make traveling so much easier.

DOONA STROLLER TRIKE

The Doona stroller (stroller/carseat combo) is one of the ultimate baby buys we used every single day when we first had Ollie and the Donna Trike is the equivalent for toddlers. After Ollie outgrew the carseat we graduated to the Doona Trike and we use it all. the. time. It’s a mix between a trike and a stroller and perfect for toddlers, both while traveling or at home running errands, going on walks, etc. It folds down to fit inside of the backpack it comes with so you can easily pack it up and throw it over your shoulder when it’s not being used. It’s super lightweight and a great carry-on size so it’s perfect for flights, road trips, or just every day use. People alwaysss stop and ask us about it. Definitely one toddler accessory that will change the way you travel.

PHONE MOUNT

This phone mount has been great for us to prop up our phone for our kids to watch a show in the airport or to turn on Ollie’s shows on the airplane. It clips to the tray table so ollie isn’t always touching it changing it. It’s under $25 and we even use it a to when we aren’t traveling, it’s also great for Ollie when were out and about running errands! The older kids love it too.

SCOOTER SUITCASE

These scooter suitcases are genius! They are carry on size for all the kids and can attach and detach from the scooter wheel base and can even fold down into regular wheeler suitcases. It keeps the kids entertained at the airport if we have a long layover, and I love that they have a scooter to cruise around on when we are exploring on vacation. It’s definitely more of a splurge but SO worth it in my opinion. I also love how the kids can use the scooter part alone, so it’s super versatile!

WIRELESS KID HEADPHONES

I love wireless headphones for Ollie because he usually will get irritated with the cords getting tangled and taking them on and off becomes a hassle. This kid size pair is under $30 and I love how these are made for kids and has built in hearing protection so the volume can’t go too loud.

TRAVEL CAR SEAT

When Ollie outgrew the Doona stroller, I missed having such an easy way to travel with a carseat so I was beyond excited when I found this travel car seat. We usually rent a car when we travel and are out driving around and exploring a lot so having a car seat with us is a must but lugging around a big, heavy carseat was a pain. This travel car seat has been a complete game changer! It’s super lightweight and folds up into the carrying bag it comes with.For perspective the car seat weighs 8 lbs and regular car seats average 15-30 lbs. (You can also purchase it without the carrying case here – comes in multiple colors.)

Amazon 2021 Holiday Gift Guide

I have done so much of my holiday shopping on Amazon! I wanted to share a roundup of my favorite finds for the whole family. Some of these gift ideas are things I use daily and love. I hope these gift guides can save you the stress of last minute holiday shopping! (Also if you missed our huge 2021 Holiday Gift Guide with 20+ guides I’m relinking it here. )

My favorite gift finds for her from Amazon – staple beauty products like this Elemis Cleansing Balm (a favorite of mine for years) and my favorite slippers this season make such great gifts!

My favorite gift finds for him from Amazon – Cody has been wanting a deep tissue massage gun for muscle recovery and this one is under $100! I’ve also found some of my favorite shirts and flannels for him from Amazon this year and this one is under $30.

I find so many of my favorite home finds on Amazon and these are some recent kitchen and home things I’ve been loving that would make perfect gifts for friends or family. I’ve been super into organizing my home lately and these bamboo drawer dividers are so great and under $25. I also found these air-tight glass containers to store different cereal and snacks in our cabinets that are under $50.

Finding gifts for teens can be tricky each holiday season so I picked out some of my teen girl and boy favorites that my teen kids approved of. Amazon has so many great bead kits if your teen is into DIY jewelry and phone charms. My kids also love any sort of sports games and I thought this Pop-A-Shot ball game would be a perfect gift they could keep downstairs for when friends come over.

So many great tech gift finds on Amazon this year. We have a couple of these like the Samsung The Frame TV which is 20% off currently! Also love this Shark vacuum that our cleaning lady recommended, it really is the best.

Each year my kids do an advent calendar and their favorite is this holiday Lego calendar (under $30.) I included Ollie’s favorite balance bike on the kid gift guide as well since I always get so many questions about it! It’s under $50 and I love the natural color aesthetic of it.

I thought these heated outdoor chairs make a great gift for grandparents who come to kid’s sports games each weekend.
