When I was in NYC last week I went into Madewell and was obsessed with all their chocolate brown and burgundy pieces. I’ve been loving their bags for years – they are such great quality and a nice middle price point. Not as expensive as designer but a step up from lower priced brands. The quality is amazing and when you can snag them on sale like right now, its the best deal!

This bag is one of my top favs and it came home with me! The shape is such a good large size tote and it reminds me a lot of my Celine bag…for a fraction of the price!! This bag is seriously stunning – I’m obsessed! Also loving these straight leg skinner dark jeans. Paired with my black loafers and this new stripe sweater (so soft!) Love love this brown bucket bag! Its so similar to my best selling suede bucket tote from Madewell I got last year. This years version has the cute buckle on it and I love it!

Ok, I’m officially obsessed—these pants are SO good. They are so good I had to get multiple colors. Cozy but still put-together

They run true to size, I’m a little under 5’7” and wear the regular length. Love that they come in short and tall versions too! One of the best parts they don’t wrinkle.

100/10 recommend these pants!

Mara and I were out shopping this week and I got the softest waffle zip up for her. I ended up loving it so much I got one for me too. I wish I could explain the cozy softness level in words but wow it’s seriously amazing!! And on sale right now! (She got a size xs I got a medium)  I also grabbed her this dress and this button up shirt for Wes – he loves it!

These straight leg, non-distressed jeans are such a classic every day pair. I had the distressed bottom one for YEARS and loved them so much I recently got this new wash with the clean hem. Wearing with my MUST HAVE favorite hoodie in this new-ish green color. I love it! These are the comfiest hoodies ever. My entire family is obsessed!!

I’ve had these wide leg grey sweatpants for years now and they are my all time fav – SO comfy cozy, my entire family loves them too! Paired with this camo zip up hoodie for the perfect lounge / errands outfit.

The other pair of jeans I wear on heavy rotation are these low rise, wide leg jeans. They are just so comfy, I find myself reaching for these a ton. Paired it with the same hoodies we love but in the full zip version – we love these too!  I also love these hoodies to throw on over workout clothes!

I recently got these bra- free, double lined camis and tees from Abercrombie. They are SO flattering – they are a thick, tighter material and they smooth me out but are so comfy. I love both the tee version and the cami version – both on sale!

Mens and kids jeans are on sale too!  My teenage son Wes is 15 so wearing mens jeans that are included in the denims sale and Ollie is in the kids wide leg jeans also on sale. I loved that Ollie wanted to match Wes!! Perfect time to order for back to school clothes!

Mara loves the low rise wide leg jeans too – we both got these! She’s in women’s jeans, perfect for teen girls back to school shopping! She’s also wearing the zip up hoodie and black cami here. She kept borrowing mine I ordered some for her for back to school.

I get a lot of requests for affordable beauty products and this plum lip combo is one I’ve been wearing on repeat this fall.

I start by lining my lips with this E.L.F. lip pencil – I over line the top a little before filling in with the lipstick. I have this lip pencil in the shade: plum & get it 

Next I fill in with this Revlon lipstick in the shade 777 Vampire love

Finally I top it off with this lipgloss in the shade jam session. They call it an oil but it isn’t sticky at all like an oil, its more glossy and hydrating. I have this in multiple colors and love it!  I love and wear the shade honey talks – its not as brown as it looks online, its more of an everyday soft nude color. I also wear this lip oil by itself and its so pretty. I can’t believe its under $10!

I have been on the hunt for the perfect tall lug boots this season and let me tell you guys, it was worth 👏 the 👏 wait.👏  These are the most beautiful boots. Even better in real life.

This pair was so good I ordered it in 2 colors (this pretty tan and the cream) and that was before they added 2 new colors! So you’ve been warned – you’ll have a hard time narrowing it down to just one. 😂  I also got this pair in black – I liked the chunkier sole for an edgier vibe.

The chunky boot styles are still carrying strong into 2021. It’s an updated version of the traditional Chelsea boot you have in your closet. These are waterproof and slide on super easy – they will become your GO- TO boot this season. 

OBSEEEEESSED with these tall lug boots. I got them in this pretty nude and also the cream color.

Snagged these glasses in-store at Nordstrom and they are my new fave pair. They come in multiple colors but I went with the tortoise – also love the black!

I’ve been getting some questions from you guys asking for more styling ideas for boots. I think with wide-leg jeans escorting skinny jeans off the fashion scene this year, we’re all in somewhat of a wardrobe transition trying to figure out how to adjust your wardrobe to the new trend. So I wanted to share 3 seamless ways to wear your tall lug boots this fall.

1. WHEN IN DOUBT, LEGGINGS: Not that leggings have ever been out of style, but paired with tall lug boots, they are more sophisticated than ever this season and I am here for it. Blazers, oversized sweatshirts, and chunky knits are all easy additions – really the options are endless!
2. TROUSERS: I’m loving the look of trousers with tall lug boots. It’s an effortless look and fully embraces the menswear vibe. Also works with wide leg trousers or more fitted trousers, so it’s an easy recipe.
3. BIKER SHORTS / MINI DRESSES: And maybe the most failproof combo for any tall boots – just keep your hems high. I love these lug boots with biker shorts or, better yet, a cute shorts one piece set under a pretty shacket. (Love the fringe detail on this one pictured below.)

Been loving this tan zip hoodie for fall. It’s a neutral color that goes well with so many looks- I’ll wear it over a workout set or over leggings and a ribbed tee. I wear size large for an oversized fit and it’s under $30. It comes in multiple colors and is so warm and cozy!

My current favorite sweatpants that have been on repeat lately. They are under $30 and I have them in multiple colors. When I first saw this stunning coat online at Saks, I could not take my eyes off of it and now I can’t take it off. This is a recreation of my travel style look for the drive up. Oversized layers with a cropped tank and leggings (these have pockets and love the material, especially around the waist) are one of my favorite travel style combos – super easier to wear and perfect to peel layers when you get too hot. I also always travel with an oversized tote or duffel (you can never have enough room for snacks, electronics, chargers, whether you’re flying or driving) and this is one I’ve had for years. The quilting is super lightweight and the strap is really comfortable, plus multiple pockets. Also have to call out these Nikes because I wore them all weekend too and still can’t get enough of the cool neon colors. Cody loved them so much he had me order for him too.

When in doubt, one of my favorite ways for styling a statement layer is to let it do all the talking. Keep the rest of your look simple, either with monochromatic colors or shorter hems so the jacket gets all the attention. Love a good oversized shirt jacket over a matching shorts set like this boucle set (top and bottoms both under $50). To keep it feeling seasonal, go for a tall boot. I’m in love with these gorgeous white heeled boots. 😍 So stunning and it will put any outfit over the top. Also a great way to transition a boxy, patchwork coat for a night out.

I can’t count how many times during the fall I end up in a sweater, jeans, and boots. A good quilted, patchwork jacket is a great way to break up an everyday look. It also has the asymmetric cross/button detail at the waist. These will get you thousands of compliments this season! I ordered a 26 and they are a little loose so going to exchange for 25. And the combat look is still one of my favorite fall boot trends. Keep it feeling current with a cool hardware detail – can’t wait to bring these back out this year!

Sock boots are still one of my favorite fall boot trends, especially when it comes to wearing with fall dresses and shorter hems. I got this one in white last year and love it in the black! It has the prettiest knit detail and love the unique heel. Great price point too! Also love this square toe, chunky heel boot. It feels like such a statement boot but it’s a great price point still – comes in multiple colors.

WEAR THEM WITH: Your favorite trousers, relaxed denim, or your 9-to-5 tailored business look. Also love these with pretty tailored shorts  – dressed up or down – and they are an easy finish with your favorite fall dresses.

This is one of the fall boot trends I’m planning to pull the trigger on. Loving the cowboy boot look we have been seeing lately! So cute with dresses or denim. And so many cool textures that your fall wardrobe will thank you for!

WEAR THEM WITH: Long line tees, oversized blazers, mini dresses – this is my favorite way to complete a no-pants look! And an effortless way to transition into fall before the temperature drops.

WEAR THEM WITH: Everything you own. Chelsea boots are one of the most versatile boots – you can really get away with styling them with whatever!

And of course you can’t go wrong with chelsea boots. This one was one of my favorites from last year and it was almost always out of stock – so glad they brought it back this season! I’m still obsessed. Also got these boots to wear for the upcoming season – love the ribbed sock detail with the platform, chelsea boot look – makes it so versatile and easy to style with any look.
