Been seeing a shift to more v-neck sweaters lately and have been on the hunt for one I love. I ordered a few different sweaters and LOVED this one the most, I also grabbed it in navy.

I also tried this one and returned it. The material felt thin and a little scratchy. I always try to really hunt and find my favorites before I share anything. Not every order is a win, but it makes the good finds like this sweater so much better!

Paired the outfit with these light wash jeans I wear on repeat and this bag also from amazon thats under $100!

Side note: I recently got this liquid eye shadow (shade: 22M cashew) & I’m obsessed! Not from Amazon but I wanted to be sure to share! Its so creamy and easy to put on. Love all the neutral color options!

These sports plush stuffies!! I’m obsessed – they are SO cute! Jellycat makes a super similar version thats way more expensive like $60 a piece! so I was so excited to find these under $20. I thought they would make such a cute Valentines gift for kids!

This one piece brown swimsuit is a major win – obsessed!! Holds you in and super flattering and just overall such a great mom swimsuit. All items including these white coverup pants, jelly sandals and sun hat linked here.

These thongs! I feel like I’ve tried so many and these are so buttery sofy, stretchy and comfortable and a great price point. They really do feel better than skims!

That reminds me I just got these wireless ribbed bras and I’m OBSESSED! So comfy for every day wear.

I’ve also been on the hunt for a bikini brief underwear and tried these and didn’t like them. I am going to keep searching and will let you know when I find something I love as much as this thong version! The hunt continues!

This light blue fleece half zip pull over is a free people look for less! It comes in a bunch of fun colors – I’m wearing size small.

Ok, I’m officially obsessed—these pants are SO good. They are so good I had to get multiple colors. Cozy but still put-together

They run true to size, I’m a little under 5’7” and wear the regular length. Love that they come in short and tall versions too! One of the best parts they don’t wrinkle.

100/10 recommend these pants!

Mara and I were out shopping this week and I got the softest waffle zip up for her. I ended up loving it so much I got one for me too. I wish I could explain the cozy softness level in words but wow it’s seriously amazing!! And on sale right now! (She got a size xs I got a medium)  I also grabbed her this dress and this button up shirt for Wes – he loves it!

GREEN SWEATER – WEARING SIZE XL

This is an amazing dupe for the Free People sweaters – I have it in a few colors and it’s become one of my favorites for lounging around the house, packing on beach trips for an extra layer for chilly nights, or just layering throughout the spring. I sized up a ton because I love it super oversized but I’ve gotten some DMs saying it was too baggy for some of you guys when you sized up that much – so much size up just one size if you don’t want it too loose.

GREY JOGGERS – WEARING SIZE L

I got these sweats in a couple colors – you can see the black below in a size M so they aren’t quite as baggy as these grey ones. I actually love the silhouette of these – they are super high rise so I love the way they it on the hips. And of course you can’t beat the comfort level of boyfriend sweats. 🙂

SMILEY SLIPPERS – WEARING SIZE 8.5

I pretty much live in slippers around the house so my slipper collection might be slightly above average 🙃 but they are one of the simple pleasures of life I don’t think I’ll ever give up haha. These come in 8 colors and are under $20. If you’re between sizes, I would always suggest sizing up – especially for all things fluffy, faux fur, etc.

Our family easter pictures are always one of my favorites of the year – with 6 people, getting a family pic with coordinated outfits can be rare 😂 so I always get excited for our family Easter outfits. I feel like the kids are all finding their own style, this year more than ever, and we are all obsessed with Nike Dunks right now so I thought it would be fun to embrace the color this year, especially with our shoe game. We all wear our Dunks and Jordans so much – they go with everything and come in so many different colors. The kids love them so much that they have saved up to buy their own pairs. Mara picked out her dress, I loved the colors and it’s such a good price point. she had idea to wear long sleeve underneath since it’s still kind of cold here. Cannot believe it’s $7.25!!

I feel like spring style is always a breath of fresh air after a long winter of neutrals and thick layers so I get a rush every time spring styles hit the shelves (or sites :).  Here are 3 spring staples as we roll into 2022 spring fashion that will be the star of the show this season:

CLEAN DENIM (WEARING SIZE 25 IN THIS PAIR)

Non-distressed denim. I’m loving the clean silhouettes. It opens endless doors for dressing up your denim with a feminine blouse (obsessed with the cut, color, pretty much everything about this one) or a more tailored top. But you can dress them down with a cropped tee and sneakers for casual cool look that still looks pulled together.

A BRIGHT SHOE

We are seeing so much color this season. Shoes are the easiest way to incorporate color into your look if you’re more of a neutral lover. This pretty shade of green has me hooked. Bold shoes will be one of the biggest spring staples this season.

A TEXTURED BLAZER (WEARING SIZE 10)

One of my favorite spring staples that I end up wearing all year long is a textured blazer. The styling opportunities are endless: with a pretty spring blouse and denim as we transition between seasons, belted with a pair of biker shorts and tall boots, or over a slip dress for evening out. It all comes down to the texture for me, especially in lighter tones for spring so you can appreciate the detail. I’ve had these sneakers for years and they are hands down the most comfortable sneakers I own. On a random personal note, I took Ollie down to the train this week. He’s obsessed with trucks, trains, garbage cans – anything that’s big and loud. This is one of my favorite stages. They are so excited and inquisitive about everything. Little things, big things, they just appreciate every little moment. I love seeing him excited but also a little nervous so he has to stay close to me or hold my leg so he has that reassurance as he sees and explores new things.  I heard this on a Tiktok video this week and it stuck out to me so much. It was talking about how we say little things each day like we can’t wait for _____ – Can’t wait for our kids to be out of diapers, for the week to be over so we can relax on weekend, can’t wait for Christmas, can’t wait, can’t wait… BUT:

“Life is not short. We waste it. We waste it hoping for things to come, we waste it complaining, we waste it with grudges. Your life is now. Now is your life. There is no replacement for this moment you are in. Live your life and love it! Never wish away a minute of it. You will never get this moment back”

It made me stop in my tracks and think how many times I say little things like that instead of appreciating the moment I’m in. So this is your reminder to stop worrying about what’s ahead and enjoy the moment you’re in.

I think with wide-leg jeans escorting skinny jeans off the fashion scene this year, we’re all in somewhat of a wardrobe transition trying to figure out how to adjust your wardrobe to the new trend. So I wanted to share 3 seamless ways to wear your tall lug boots this fall.

1. WHEN IN DOUBT, LEGGINGS: Not that leggings have ever been out of style, but paired with tall lug boots, they are more sophisticated than ever this season and I am here for it. Blazers, oversized sweatshirts, and chunky knits are all easy additions – really the options are endless!
2. TROUSERS: I’m loving the look of trousers with tall lug boots. It’s an effortless look and fully embraces the menswear vibe. Also works with wide leg trousers or more fitted trousers, so it’s an easy recipe.
