Happy Monday everyone! A couple weeks ago we went to shoot an outfit post by the snowy trees and got super distracted. The kids and I ended up hiking through waist deep snow exploring. Holy cow it is a work out. I never realized how tiring it could actually be. I’ve never tried snow shoeing but after this I’ve put it on the top of my list of things to try. There is something so beautiful and serene about the peaceful outdoors freshly covered in a blanket of snow.

I got these snow boots this year and they have worked so well. They lace up tight so the snow doesn’t sneak in and they keep your feet super warm. I’m also in love with this black fur parka. Faux fur is a always a great way to add a sleek accent to your snow ensemble.

    I used to dress like you did today for the snow, precisely because of kids and what fun snow becomes with them. The pictures of you here make me nostalgic for those days. However when you age snow becomes romantic as can be seen in my post today. Something else to look forward to besides the wonderful life you seem to be having now.
