5 Minute Spring Beauty Look

Beckam loves going through my make up drawer. I think he thinks it’s like a hidden stash of crayons because he always goes for my lipsticks first and it’s usually a straight shot for the wall or floor for a coloring brigade.

I used Burt’s Bees lipstick shade 501 to line my lips and shade 510 as my all over lip color.

Beckam was sick for almost 2 weeks straight and having him back to his smiley happy self is the best thing in the world! This age may be my favorite stage so far. The other day he wanted a snack so I was walking downstairs to get it and he came running to the end of the stairs and yelled “MOM! I MISS YOU” I literally teared up it was the cutest thing. He’s also started doing this thing where he grabs my face and brings it in for a kiss and it is my favorite thing in the whole world. His pucker is really just him coming in with his mouth wide open and it’s full slobber or tongue but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

As he’s getting older he’s getting so busy, and always wants to be right next to me. There are days when I have 30 minutes to an hour to get ready (pretty much only if he’s napping) and it feels like heaven and other days where I’m lucky if I get to brush my hair. As the sun is sticking around longer and the days are getting warmer, the kids seem anxious to get outside the second they wake up which means less time to get ready. I’ve gotten pretty good at simplifying my spring beauty routine and narrowed it down just a few easy steps you can accomplish in 5 minutes or less!

1. BB Cream: A BB cream is your best friend for a quick and easy makeup look.
