We found the prettiest reservoir out exploring! The water was such a rich blue! I’m definitely a bag girl so I’m always wanting bag options for my outfits when I travel. I love this one because it can convert from a crossbody to a shoulder bag or a clutch so it’s perfect to have one bag for every occasion.

Over Labor Day weekend we went up to Deer Valley with Cody’s brother and his family. The leaves were already starting to change colors and the weather finally felt like fall. I’ve been so anxious to be able to pull out my fall wardrobe without sweating like crazy haha so a staycation up to the mountains was the perfect trip! There are a thousand paths and hikes to choose from up at Deer Valley so we’re always exploring – we found the prettiest reservoir exploring!  The two highlights were: B in his mini bathrobe! If you follow me on snapchat you probably saw the million videos. He was killing me! He kept saying “Look Mom, I match Dad!”. He looks up to his Dad to much! The other was at night when we were roasting s’mores a baby and mama moose came up no more than 20 feet away from us!.They had no fear and were seriously just a few feet away eating – so cool!

I’m a chronic over-packer (although I’ve been a lot better lately!) but anything bigger than a weekender back for a quick weekend getaway and I won’t hear the end of Cody’s jokes. 😛 I love finding a good weekender bag but between a few outfits for the weekend, toiletries and makeup, laptop, camera, and of course a few bag and shoe options (and then some), I’m usually commandeering some of the extra space in Cody or B’s luggage too. 😉 But for our staycation in Deer Valley I got the Lo & Sons Catalina Deluxe and couldn’t believe everything I was able to fit inside – I even had extra space for B’s things that and that rarely happens lol.

I love all the compartments inside that make it so easy for organizing. It has so many zippers and pockets so it really made the most of every corner of space. My favorite part is the zip pouch underneath – it’s the perfect spot for your shoes. I always pack my shoes at the bottom of my luggage but with a separate compartment it’s really easy access so you don’t have to dig through everything on top every time you need to get to your shoes. There’s also a sleeve on the back that you can slide over a suitcase handle so it’s sit perfectly on top of the rest of your luggage for those bigger trips.
