New York City

Happy Friday from New York! Cody and I are here for a quick trip for work! Lot’s of exciting things in the works for the blog and ILY! I always love NYC during the fall (or really any city during the fall haha) but it actually felt like winter had already hit! I love styling layers, so it’s the best season for fashion. I love this time of year because you can finally pull out all your cold weather gear and create so much dimension for your look.

Black and white are the two most timeless colors that never go out of style. Kate Spade New York has so many good black and white pieces right now! This wink beanie (under $100) is my favorite, I’m so obsessed! And the matching scarf with the pom-poms! Ahh I seriously went click happy adding everything to my cart when I saw all their new arrivals. I actually just got these matching socks too (under $20). Can you tell I have a problem with matching and embroidery pieces lol! Embroidery is having a moment.

Lastly this coat. I have an obsession with leather moto coats and have been looking for over a year for a warm one with shearling lining that fits good and has a luxe feel to wear in the winter. I was so excited to finally find that coat!

Below are a few more favorite accessories.

Are you guys excited for Halloween? Any big plans for the weekend? Can’t wait to take the kids trick-or-treating!

I love this outfit! It is the right balance of flirty, warm and edgy. All black with some light accessories is one of the looks that I have loved for years. Kate Spade is also my inspiration behind eh pretty much everything in life so I love anything she makes! I can’t believe it is already that cold up there! My fashion blog is shifting gears from focusing on fall to the frigid WV cold.

I love this outfit! All black with light accessories is the best way to keep it flirty but still edgy and gorgeous. I love blanketing myself in layers of sweaters and jackets but you made this look super flattering and stunning! Jealous is the key word here. Also, love Kate Spade and her entire existence so always happy to see her getting the credit she deserves! Awesome post.

Oh my god I am obsessed with your beanie and scarf. I love clothes that have a little bit of personality and sass and these two accessories are so cute for a winter day out! Just love how playful your whole look is and can’t wait to see what you got up to in NYC!

Such a cosy look – I love how you’ve styled it with over the knee boots. I have some black ones myself but these grey ones look so pretty!
