The 4th of July is always one of my favorite holidays. We usually go to lake in Montana to spend it with my family and I look forward to the tradition every year! Whether you are BBQing with friends, spending it on the way, or just keeping it low-key at home, dressing up in red, white, and blue will make it feel more festive! FOR THE BEACH BABE

If you are heading to the water, there’s nothing like a festive suit so beat the heat and celebrate the 4th! I just got this gingham swimsuit and couldn’t believe the price. It’s on sale and soooo cute (comes in tons of colors/patterns!) I also love this ribbed bikini top and bottom – I love it in navy to balance out the feminine/flirty feel of the ruffles. A cute pair of sunglasses are another must! Love this pretty blue pair and they are on sale under $50.

FOR THE FRIENDS + FIREWORKS

Backyard BBQs, s’mores, and fireworks call for cute but comfortable. I love any excuse to put on a dress and since we’ve gone 3+ months without a good one, the 4th seems like the perfect opportunity to go big or go home with a red, white, and blue ensemble. Now to narrow it down to just one… haha. I love this dress which comes in three colors (the white and red would both be so good!). It’s under $50 and a timeless silhouette you would wear for multiple occasions. I ordered this one which is such a pretty combo of RW&B all in one piece. Also love the back detail on this gingham dress (so good!) and how pretty is this off-the-shoulder option?

FOR THE LOW-KEY, LOUNGERS

If you’re laying low this 4th of July, just add some color or stars and stripes to your outfit to make it feel more like a celebration. Keep it casual but cute with some staples like a cute denim or paper-bag short (just got this pair) or make a statement with this striped pair. You can bring in more color with festive accessories like this striped bandana or these sandals (love this color combo!). Also obsessed with this striped scrunchy!
