Been seeing a shift to more v-neck sweaters lately and have been on the hunt for one I love. I ordered a few different sweaters and LOVED this one the most, I also grabbed it in navy.

I also tried this one and returned it. The material felt thin and a little scratchy. I always try to really hunt and find my favorites before I share anything. Not every order is a win, but it makes the good finds like this sweater so much better!

Side note: I recently got this liquid eye shadow (shade: 22M cashew) & I’m obsessed! Not from Amazon but I wanted to be sure to share! Its so creamy and easy to put on. Love all the neutral color options!

These sports plush stuffies!! I’m obsessed – they are SO cute! Jellycat makes a super similar version thats way more expensive like $60 a piece! so I was so excited to find these under $20. I thought they would make such a cute Valentines gift for kids!

This one piece brown swimsuit is a major win – obsessed!! Holds you in and super flattering and just overall such a great mom swimsuit. All items including these white coverup pants, jelly sandals and sun hat linked here.

These thongs! I feel like I’ve tried so many and these are so buttery sofy, stretchy and comfortable and a great price point. They really do feel better than skims!

That reminds me I just got these wireless ribbed bras and I’m OBSESSED! So comfy for every day wear.

I’ve also been on the hunt for a bikini brief underwear and tried these and didn’t like them. I am going to keep searching and will let you know when I find something I love as much as this thong version! The hunt continues!

This light blue fleece half zip pull over is a free people look for less! It comes in a bunch of fun colors – I’m wearing size small.

I just got this blue dress and I’m in love with it.  It would be the perfect wedding guest dress or event dress. The color is SO beautiful and vibrant – the perfect cheerful blue color for spring and summer!  Its so flattering and such a great fit. With the sale happening now it’s under $150!!

I’ve been wearing and raving about these gray jogger sweatpants for YEARS!  They are such a closet staple and something I wear multiple times per week. They are so comfy and great quality – they hold up so well and wash so well.

This black zip up hoodie is new, I had it in navy and loved it so much I got another color. The material is more silky-ish scuba material and super soft. I love that it feels a little more luxe than just a basic zip up sweatshirt

This gray scoop tank is another item I’ve had for years in multiple colors. Its such a great basic and something I wear all the time.

Abercrombie is one of my favorite places to buy swimsuits and when they are on sale like this, they are such a great price point for the amazing quality!  They are thick and hold their shape so well and don’t fade. I am loving this brown swimsuit – the white line detail is so flattering and the top is super supportive!  It comes in a cute one piece version too.

These cut off jean shorts are another major closet staple for me. I wear them ALL the time and they are such a great price right now with the 25% off!  They are so comfy and such a great length for chasing my kids around. Full outfit linked here.

This green dress is so beautiful and also included in the sale!! It would make such a great spring or summer wedding guest dress or bridesmaid dress. You can wear it with the sleeves up like I have shown, and I also love it with one side hanging off the shoulder too.

I’ve raved about these straight leg jeans so many times– for good reason!! You can’t beat the under $100 price for such a great pair of quality staple jeans. I love them dressed up with heels or down with sneakers.

I just got these new denim shorts and I LOVE them!!  They hold their shape so well and don’t crease – they are so flattering!  They are a little shorter and more fitted than my dad shorts I’ve had for a long time, so a good alternative if you are looking for a different style.  Wearing with my Abercrombie scoop tank!

It wouldn’t be an Abercrombie sale without me mentioning my family’s FAVORITE hoodies!!! My entire family wears and loves these essential hoodies. They are SO soft and cozy – they wash so well.  I wear the mens size large for an oversized comfy fit!

Friday 5:  Beis luggage // black maxi dress // sunglasses // black travel tote // purse

Tortoise sunglasses:  I’ve had and loved these sunglasses for years!  They are really thick and sturdy feeling — they feel super expensive and they are under $100!  I love the gold line detail across the top, it makes them look more luxe. The large size of them gives great face coverage from the sun too! They come in multiple colors. Love these!

Woven shoulder bag:  This woven purse is so classic!  I’ve had it for years and I pack it on every beach vacation trip we take. It goes with everything and makes the perfect vacation purse. I love the chain strap detail on it. Highly recommend!

Black Skims Dress:  This long black maxi dress is another item I have had and loved for years. Its so comfy and stretchy – I pack this on every trip and love wearing it on the airplane. I love that its so comfy that I feel like I’m wearing pajamas but I look put together at the same time. The black is my favorite, its super flattering. I have and love the long sleeve version too!

Suitcase:  These beis suitcases are my all time favorite suitcases. They are so sturdy and such amazing quality. If you travel freqently enough, they are totally worth the investment!  I love how stylish all the different color options are, and the hard shell makes it so easy to wipe clean after traveling. Black travel bag:  This Baggu cloud bag is seriously amazing!! I’ve used it on so many trips over the years and its held up so well. Its a great price point for how much use I get out of it!  Its like jumbo sized and holds so much. The black color and material is easy to keep clean too.

Head scarves are the #1 accessory of the summer in my book! They are the most versatile piece and can be worn is so many ways: as a top (worn with this turquoise scarf), as a head wrap, in your hair, around your bag or even as a bag (I’ll be sharing this trick soon), as a belt, around your hat – the options are endless! I’m obsessed with the color of this scarf with the light pink on top with the contrast on the bottom.

You all have been asking for more one piece options and this one is a WIN WIN WIN. This cute one piece I ordered is under $25 and comes in a navy blue and a leopard print as well. The cinched waist is super flattering and you can adjust it to fit you just right! Neutral one pieces can also double as body suits so it’s a great way to get more wear out of it for beach trips etc. I accessorized the black one-piece with this pink scarf head wrap, sunnies, and this cute beaded necklace. Beaded jewelry is one of my favorites right now too – another great essential to have!

Cody always teases me for needing a full sized suitcase (or 2.. haha) no matter how long or short of a trip it is. I had a quick trip planned and decided to put myself to the test to see if I could scale it down to fit in a carry-on… Spoiler alert – I didn’t. 😂  But, I would have if I hadn’t packed my pillow! DRESS (SIMILAR HERE)- Dresses are your best friend when you’re trying to squeeze a weekends’ worth of clothes and beauty products into a carry-on. They are an easy one and done piece. Love this pink dress! It’s a gorgeous color (perfect for Insta-worthy pics from your trip!) and the sleeves are sooo stunning! It’s also a really pretty material that you don’t have to steam after you unpack it. Super easy pieces to transition from pool side to dinner with the girls. Also love the silhouette of this one and how pretty is this one?

BIKER SHORTS – Summer is the season of biker shorts! For an easy, breezy look, pair some cute biker shorts with an oversized tank or tee and your favorite sandals and sunnies. MINIMAL TAN-LINES BIKINI TOP & BOTTOMS  – When I’m traveling with the family, I’m all about the kid-proof swimsuits – something I can swim in and be super active in without worrying about Ollie getting his hands on a strap. But for girl’s trips, it’s all about find suits that will leave the least tan lines. This bikini is so beautiful, and I love that you can wear the straps multiple ways – tied up as a halter or around your torso.

You guys know I’m a sucker for swimsuits. I’m obsessed with this black one-piece. The cut is so flattering and feminine and I love the belt detail! Also love all the bright colored swimsuits – this green one is such a pretty color and also love this ombre one piece. I’m in love with this floral bikini set. It’s a beautiful print and the sleeves are so stunning.

SANDALS:

These slides are under $100 and so pretty! Comes in a nude and also a rainbow combo here. Love! I also ordered these sandals in the leather- a great price point and super comfortable and it comes in multiple colors. Also found these under $25 and how pretty are these blue slides??

SPRING STYLE:

So many gorgeous dresses and pants out right now – I can’t get enough! This balloon sleeve dress is gorgeous and also love the full sleeves on this pastel dress. I’m also head over heels for this ombre maxi dress – every detail is insane! The color, the fabric, the buttons, the full sleeves. Obsessed! These pants are another one of my favorite finds right now. It’s a pretty knit and love the slits. Perfect to pair with a bodysuit or as a swimsuit cover up. And of course, accessories! How good is this straw bucket hat! I also found this visor for under $50.

Hope you guys had a great Memorial Day weekend! Swimsuit season is upon us and it makes me so happy to think about laying out in the sun! Because of everything going on right now, it’s sad to say that this season won’t quite be as adventurous as your typical summer break but that does not mean you can’t enjoy a couple new suits to get your tan on (even if that means laying out in your backyard)! This checkered bikini is everything. I love the lime green checkered top paired with some layered coin necklaces completing a total vintage vibe! I found a similar bikini here and have this & this coin pendant I love that would pair perfectly!

Obsessed with this thick band top- I found this one that’s super cute. I love a white swimsuit because it makes you look more tan than you actually are (I need all the help I can get after that long winter). The floppy hat gives it a completed look, I love this one and I would even maybe pair with some thin gold hoops like these!

The crinkle one piece is my all-time favorite swimsuit look! I have a few suits with this fabric and let me tell you- they are so comfortable and flattering on! I love the turtle shell accent on this suit and a simple white button-up like this to throw over as a cover-up for a classy monochromatic look. Here is this exact one piece!

A black swimsuit is a swim season must. I always feel like they’re so flattering on and are perfect for a low key look. Black goes with everything it’s so easy to wear with some gold jewelry like these earrings and I love her black-tie sunhat like this one! I think black always pair really good with denim cutoffs like these for an on the go look.

Of course I am obsessing over all the chic, neutral swim options. How good is this nude?? Also love this rust colored one-piece and this cute bow style. I wore this one in Hawaii last month and it was one of my favorites – such a flattering cut! I’ve also been drawn to all the bright suits (doesn’t hurt that they make your tan look even darker 😉 This pink one is so good and I love the look of the ribbed material and also this cute sporty striped option.

Their accessories are also sooooo good. I wish I owned everything from this brand – this bag is perfect and this one! 😍 I also love the ribbon tie detail on this stunning straw hat. They also have every sandal you could ever want. I ordered this strappy pair and also love these tan slides.

Happy Monday guys! We were supposed to head to Europe last week, but after a series of unfortunate events (I got a sunus infection and Beckam’s passport didn’t come in time) we are still here in Utah (but leaving soon!!). We had a lazy weekend at home and it was super nice. I took the fam to the best new breakfast place too, but it’s a dangerous one – so many delicious pastries and the french toast was amazing.

I got a few questions on this swimsuit I posted this weekend. It’s a cream color and the stitching with the straps makes it feel like so timeless, like it could fit into any decade. I also love a white men’s button up and matching baseball hat for a pool or beach day cover up to take a page straight from 90’s fashion. Hi guys! TGGGGIF! A bunch of you have been dm-ing me asking for details on our trip so I wanted to put together details on our stay. Putting this travel guide together is making me MISS the beach!  I’m excited to share a few more pictures of our trip, along with 8 reasons why we loved staying at the Montage Kapalua Bay in Maui.

1. Breakfast of Champions: Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and the breakfast at The Cane & Canoe restaurant was as delicious as it looks! Our server recommended the pog juice (passion fruit – orange – guava) and I almost turned it down for my favorite fresh-squeezed orange juice, but I’m so glad I didn’t! The pog juice was delicious – definitely try it when you get a chance! The mini muffins were a close second – yum! I went back every morning and got them as a morning snack even the days we went off property to eat 😉

2. Spacious Rooms: The suites are really large and perfect for families! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with  Cody’s brother and his family. It’s so perfect for family trips!  The room had a full kitchen so you can cook/prepare meals instead of eating out every meal. It also has a full washer and dryer which comes in handy after a few family trips to the beach. The balconies are also amaaaaazing they have tons of places to sit with a super comfy oversized chair and half you can cuddle with the fam and a table and chairs to eat dinner or play games.  We would just sit and enjoy the view every night! All of the rooms are ocean-facing so you have beautiful views wherever you are at which is pretty unique for properties.

3. The Spa: The views at the spa are insane! Cody and his brother still love to work out even when were on vacation, and they said the facilities were really nice. I go for more of the R&R approach 😉 I had the Valmont North America masterpiece facial and it was heaven. I always try to pack face masks on trips because traveling wreaks havoc on your skin, but obviously I would take a spa facial over a sheet mask any day haha. They do multiple masks on your skin so you leave GLOWING! One of the masks during the facial is called the ‘Cinderella mask’ because it just makes your skin beautiful and I was really excited for the collagen mask – it’s a medical grade collagen mask so it has instant plumping and fullness. Seriously so good! You have to try it if you have a chance to visit the spa. Also the view from the spa was all the heart eyes.

4. Always thinking of the kids. One of my favorite things about the Montage is they really cater to kids. We’ve stayed at a couple of their properties around the US and they always appeal to the kids to much. They give them free stuffed animals, Beckam still has his shark, and picked out one for Mara and Wes. They also do this merit badge program for the kids! They can earn different badges for activities like seeing wildlife, learning how to hula, going to a luau, all sorts of different things. Beckam was set on getting as many as he could and he would carry his paper with his badges around all day. We brought them home and he wants to put them on his backpack now 🙂 Another hit with the kids is the koi pod. Beckam loved getting to feed the fish in the Koi pond – he remembered it from last time we came to the Montage for lunch and was so excited to be able to do it again while we stayed here this time!

5. Cliff Jumping: Cody is always looking for his next chance to do something crazy! Last time we were here I did it too, so ladies get brave it’s not that bad! I was just paranoid with being pregnant doing anything extreme. But this is a super close walk from the resort, maybe 5 minutes, and the water is so clear and crystal blue!  Even Beckam jumped! Proud/terrifying mama moment! Haha.

6. The Grounds and Gardens. I am a sucker for flowers it’s no joke, the whole property at the Montage is covered with the most gorgeous flowers! and gardens! I was stopping every couple minutes so excited about the flowers haha. 

7.  Easy Beach access and Whale Watching: Walking around the property in the early morning, you could see whales! They have access to a beach that is a 1 minute walk. Everyone we talked to said its some of the best snorkeling! We didn’t make it snorkeling but have it on our list for next time!

The pool area is so nice they have lots of padded lounge chairs, umbrellas, and the big chair and half that you fit with a couple people, and it’s not over crowded. There is nothing worse than when you feel so claustrophobic at the pool jammed with people. It was peak season, full occupancy during Spring Break and you didn’t feel crowded at all. 

One of my favorite pictures of B, I didn’t say pose like this or relax on the floaty or anything I just looked over and he had his arms up like this with his eyes closed I could not stop laughing! They also have a large shallow area for the kids, Beckam made instant friends with other kids staying and they would play catch for hours!

8. We’ve never met a beach in Hawaii that we didn’t like, but when it comes to pools these ones were so beautiful! We always bounce back and forth between the pool and the beach and the Montage Kapalua has an amazing pool area, complete with multiple different pools, tons of places for kids to play (including mini waterfalls!).

9. The views. When you first walk into the resort the view literally takes your breath away (I’m so mad I took like 4 videos of it but didn’t get a picture 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️). Every person that walks in pauses, and especially at sunset its unreal. Make a point to go down to the beach or the lawn at sunset, it’s so beautiful!  

Now that I’m reliving it I’m ready to go back, haha! Do you guys have any fun beach trips coming up?

Hawaii is always one of my favorite destinations – it has become a family tradition to go every winter and we are always jumping at any chance we have to go back. I always get so excited for the beautiful flowers, great weather, and of course the chance to trade in my sweaters for swimsuits!

I just got this white one piece and love the mesh cut out details. It’s also super comfortable – it has adjustable shoulder straps which I have discovered is a game changer if you have a long torso like me. A lot of times with one pieces, it’s either a wedgie in the back or my boobs hanging out in the front haha – so needless to say I love that you can adjust the shoulder straps for Summersalt’s suits. They also have built in padding in the bra so you don’t have to worry about getting too cold (if you know what I mean ;). All of their suits are really great quality and under $100 too. (It’s also a smaller company and the owner is so sweet I love supporting other women-owned businesses!)
