1. First up is this beautiful wood arched cabinet from Walmart! This cabinet kept selling out for good reason – its such amazing quality and looks so much more expensive than it is…and its under $400!! This specific cabinet comes in 3 colors and it also comes in a few different similar styles too. If you are looking for a cabinet for your living room or kitchen, this is the best find!

2. I did an entry way refresh last year and this console table was the perfect piece!! This ribbed light wood console table is so sturdy and such great quality and you won’t believe the price!  I love how the light color brightens up our entry way and that it has storage inside to hide loose ends.

3.  This white boucle swivel accent chair continues to be a best seller and I can’t recommend it enough! We bought two of them last year and have had them in our primary bedroom – they make the perfect bedroom accent chairs for reading and watching TV. The chair is oversized enough its like a chair and a half and perfect for curling up and lounging in it.

We recently moved one of the chairs to my living room because I wanted to refresh the space – I am obsessed with how the swivel chair brightened up my living room! It’s so cozy and the boucle material is such great quality – it has held up so well over the last year. The chair is under $300 and I will recommend it over and over again!  I was excited to see it now comes in a smaller kids version too that is under $100! 

4. This burgundy sleeveless long dress is so beautiful and flattering that I’ve worn it to multiple events over the past year and have it in multiple colors! Its been a staple go to dress for me and some of my favorite and most worn dresses come from this retailer – they are affordable and so gorgeous!  This one is under $100!

5. These knee high brown boots were such an amazing find!  I was excited that tall boots are back in style and love this brown suede pair – they are super affordable under $100!

6. My shark vacuum carper and upholstery cleaner is something we can never live without now!  With four kids and a big dog, I feel like I am always cleaning up carpet stains. I love that this cleaner worked so well on our white couches too. The before and after was mind blowing!

7. You guys know I’m obsessed with Abercrombie and these black pants from there are some of my top favorites!  They are the perfect wide leg pant. I love how they can be dressed up more polished for a work pant, or down with sneakers. I like to wear them when I’m traveling on an airplane too because they are so comfy. They are under $100 and they go on sale a lot – and they come in lots of different colors! I love the lighter colors for spring and summer too!

8. This pink crochet swimsuit coverup is something I wore on repeat last year for our beach vacation and over the summer. I love that its flowy and not too short so I’m comfortable chasing around my kids and hanging with the family, but its also so stylish and flattering!  I love this pink dress so much that I just ordered the new bright blue color for my beach trip this year! I also love this affordable alternative version– such a great dupe for under $40!

9. I’m such a huge fan of adidas and these burgundy spezial adidas were a most loved pair from this past year!  They are such a great, comfy everyday sneaker to wear with jeans or sweats. I love all of the different colors for different seasons!

These white boucle accent swivel chairs are at the top of the list for my must-haves and have been a bestseller this past year – for good reason!  They are SO spacious and comfy to lounge in. They are an amazing look for less of a Pottery Barn chair I was eyeing for years that was over $1,300! We have 2 in our primary bedroom and hang out on them all the time. They have held up so well for the past year and I recommend them to everyone I know!  We styled them with this storage ottoman which matches perfectly and is so nice to store blankets, etc inside. It also now comes in green, charcoal (on sale under $200!) and a fawn beige color. If you are looking for an accent chair for anywhere in your house – you really can’t beat this white swivel chair, its under $300!!

I was craving an entryway refresh last year and this oak sideboard console table was the perfect solution. I love how bright the wood color on it is – it really lightened up the space and I love that there’s plenty of storage inside of it. We love and use it in our entry way, but it would be a great media table in a living room or side table in a bedroom as well. And its on sale right now for under $450!  It comes in a dark walnut and black color too.

I can’t believe I am saying this but even during the freezing winter right now, the new year makes me already feel spring approaching!  Now is the time to start thinking about styling your patio and front porch. There’s nothing better than a bright and colorful outdoor refresh after a freezing cold and dark winter!  I found these white planters last year and they quickly sold out.  They are such a nice, large size and under $30!!  I styled them with little trees and this year might plant some bright flowers in some. They are such a good find and will probably sell out quickly again this year!

Every holiday I look forward to doing a cute craft with the kids. Honestly we love crafts year round, but the holidays always bring out the cutest craft sets and I was instantly obsessed when I found this wooden egg painting kit for Easter! Next thing I knew I was setting up a little craft tablescape to do with the kids– Ollie couldn’t wait to paint some of his eggs 😂 but we saved the other half to paint once Mara, Wes, and Beckam got home that day. I set out a few snacks and treats for the kids and it turned into such a fun afternoon.

The craft kit itself is so perfect for any age. It comes with the cutest egg carton and paint set. Ollie got a little hands on with them and I love how they turned out even as a 2 year old! It makes a great keepsake to remember that age by. The older kids loved it too – it’s so fun to see their art skills and creativity develop. 💜 I also love the idea as an adult if you want a specific color scheme or pattern to decorate for Easter while letting your creativity out at the same time.

With summer right around the corner, I finally pulled the trigger on linen bedding for our bedroom. It was the perfect push for a spring reset to get our bedroom feeling more zen and peaceful. So I wanted to share a few things I did that are easy hacks to make your bedroom feel as relaxing as a spa. (I also still haven’t shared my full bedroom but linking to almost everything below!)

This throw blanket was a birthday present… from me to me. 😂 I had my eye on it for what felt like forever! Love the print and colors on the bed, couch, really anywhere!

Our view is probably my favorite thing about the house. Love all the light that comes in throughout the day, but especially at sunset!

1. LINEN SHEETS

There’s nothing like a new set of sheets! I had been wanting linen sheets for years, but every time I felt a set of linen sheets in store like at Target or something it always felt kind of stiff. I’d been hearing about these forever and finally tried them out and now I get the linen craze. They are sooooo soft and cozy! Make me want to stay in bed forever! 2. KEEP IT NEUTRAL

While we’re talking linens, let’s talk color scheme. There’s nothing I love more than a pretty palette to bring a relaxing, clean energy to a space! I’ve usually kept my bedding all white and neutral, but with these sheets you can actually mix and match different colors for the sheets, duvets, shams, etc. So I decided to mix a cream and white and love how it came together! It feels really high-end and expensive and I love the neutrals tones together. They have tons of pretty colors that all look good together – I think keeping a neutral or at least muted color palette goes a long way in bringing that spa mood to the bedroom.

3. LIGHT A SPRING CANDLE

Candles are a must for me. I love having candles lit throughout the house and get so excited to try a new candle or burn a new scent for the season. I just got this AM-PM candle set and they set the perfect vibe throughout the day – they have a candle ‘Wake’, ‘Magic Hour’, ‘Dusk’, and ‘Nightcap’. I love the scents and they aren’t too feminine or masculine – so perfect for a shared bedroom (and on sale 10% off + $20 off with code: ANDREW20).  I also just bought this candle again after I got down to the end of my last one – one of my favorite! Also love this fig scented candle and this lime and basil scented candle.

4. SPRITZ SOME FABRIC SPRAY

This is one of those little luxuries that goes a long way. I love everything by this brand, but especially their fabric spray. I always use it on our sheets – it’s the best scent and makes me feel like we’re in a hotel. One of the best ways to make your room feel relaxing! I’ll even spray it on our couches and chairs for a spring cleaning boost. Another tip I found to keep my sheets and bed smelling fresh is to wash them with some essential oils like this lavender one.

5. FLOWERS

Last but not least, it’s hard to top a pretty vase of flowers. Peony season just started so I can’t wait to get some fresh blooms on my nightstand – this faux arrangement is the perfect solution between fresh flower days thought – one of my favorite purchases for the room.

Spring is all about the colors! Especially after what feels like an endless winter, I catch myself craving more color than usual! I put together a little spring tablescape for the kids to brighten up their day and love how it turned out! Wish I could have my table set up every day (especially when fresh flowers are involved 😍) Here are a few tips to add some color to your Easter tablescape.

DON’T PICK JUST ONE:

Don’t feel like you need to limit yourself to just one color or a simple palette. Spring is all about pastels and colors – it’s the best excuse to go all out and incorporate as much color as you want. Think all pastels – the more pastel tones you can bring in, the more it will feel like spring. I loved these plaid napkins that we used as place mats – I just folded them once instead of multiple times to make a large rectangle for the place mat. I loved the color tones and plaid print (Also on sale under $10 for a set of 4!), they accented the gingham napkins so good!!

MIX & MATCH:

Spring is the best opportunity to buy sets in multiple colors, making it the perfect time to mix and match your decor for a perfectly mismatched tablescape. I got these gingham napkins that come in a pretty lavender, blush, mint, and blue and also these cute bunny ear napkin rings that the kids loved. Instead of matching them up for each place setting, I mixed it up so there was even more color at each seat.

LET THE TREATS DO THE TALKING:

One of the most seamless ways to bring in color is with your treats. Think pink lemonade, colorful fruits, and yummy spring candies. It’s a great way to have your treats do double duty – both as decor and something yummy to munch on before (or after 🙂 you eat. This candy set is so cute and the cake bites are addicting!

ADD FLORAL ACCENTS:

Adding a pretty vase of flowers is always a no brainer, but add little sprigs of flowers as accents to your plates or food. Wildflowers I feel like are such an underrated flower, and they add so much to a table. The little clusters look so cute as an accent to the bunny ears, and we pulled a couple mini daisies off to add to the lemon slices and yogurt and I love how it just adds that feminine touch :).

How much has Ollie grown this year 🥺🥺

The first thing I picked for this space was this tile. When we were building I really wanted beautiful patterned tile everywhere haha I’m a sucker for cool tile! But as we really started to nail down decor, we settled on a few little accent details through out our home. The laundry room is a really safe place to have fun with pattern or color.  I love the pretty blue tone that feels really bright and clean.  I’m so happy with how it turned out! The majority of our home is really neutral, so it was fun to bring in some blue in such a bold way!

We don’t get natural light in this room we went with 2 of these chandeliers. I can’t find them in stock anywhere (they were from Wayfair, I’ll keep an eye out if they come back in stock) but found this one that’s super similar. A few weeks ago I switched out the bulbs from a warm bulb to a brighter watt with white light and it’s night and day difference. These were ones I got and love. Wish I had done it earlier!

From the beginning design process I wanted to try to set up as much storage and organization as possible.  Obviously I don’t have a foolproof system because if you’ve seen my insta stories its still a mess a lot of times haha, but a couple organization things I love. The tall drawers next to the sink have dirty hampers for Cody, mine and the kids clothes. Each drawer has two bins, one for darks and one for whites (I also LOVE the brass and lucite pulls on these drawers!) For clean laundry, we got these lined baskets and added these gold label hooks to them for the kids. So when I’m organizing the clean laundry I throw all their stuff in each basket for them to put away.  I also love these apothecary jars to hold things like detergent, pods – basically whatever products you use that has packaging that doesn’t flow with your color scheme. 😂  For some of my other go-to laundry brands that are a little more aesthetically pleasing (love Laundress & Honest Baby), I love displaying them and setting them out with more intention. You might not think to put your pretty trays and baskets in the laundry where most people will never see them, but whether you hate to do laundry room or already love it, adding some decor brings a totally different energy and will change the game.

We’re going on almost a year of living in all things cozy and I for one am not tired of it haha. Sharing a few of my favorite recent loungewear finds below that are worth every penny!

AMAZON BARELY THERE BRAS

I just got this bra on Amazon after hearing amazing reviews about the brand and they are so worth they hype. I’m almost always in a sports bra or bralette just for comfort but these bras are super lightweight, no underwire, and feel like they are barely there. Also got this nude one – love the thick straps.

MATCHING LOUNGEWEAR SETS

I’ve also been finding the best two piece sets lately – I’ve shared a few of my favorites on stories like this full sleeve short set (under $40!) and these cute tie-dye sets (under $30). This fuzzy 3 piece set is also so good in person. It comes in tons of colors and is under $50. Love the high-waisted pants and cropped tank and the sweater is such a cozy touch.

SLIPPERS

I bought these slippers in multiple colors. They are super soft and comfortable and an amazing price point under $30.

CLEAR STACKABLE DRAWERS (20% OFF)

I’m obsessed with these clear stackable drawers (20% off right now)! Especially with standard closets, they are the perfect solution for storing things that are hard to organize and would usually end up on the floor or piled on shelves. A great piece for kids closets, especially since you can fit so much more. I love that these are stackable too!  I use these to store things like diapers, wipes, and other items accessories like beanies and hats etc. The bigger ones are great for baby shoes or leggings. GARAGE RAIL & HOOK SYSTEM

Tackling the garage has been on my list forever. I knew we needed some kind of storage or organization system and this one was the perfect first step. I read SO many reviews and this one had the highest rating. It has a bunch of different hooks to hang various items (we also ordered these extra hooks to go with it). It saves so much floor space and I loved being able to see such an immediate difference so quickly! It has amazing reviews and they were spot on – super easy to install!

VERTICAL BALL ORGANIZER 

Another garage must-have if your family is super into sports like mine – this vertical ball organizer  attaches to the rail system above and makes it really easy to get all the various basketballs, volleyballs, footballs, etc. into one place. Seriously no better way to store them! I also love the flexible bands in front so the kids can grab any ball they want without a hassle (and also makes it easy to put them away). Another one that lives up to its glowing reviews!

DRAWER DIVIDERS

Once you go draw dividers, you never go back. They make finding and putting away clothes so much easier and helps you visualize everything you own quickly. I especially love them for kids drawers! This one works for smaller drawers too but also extend out really long so they can work for longer drawers too. These are on sale right now too!

ROPE  BASKETS

These rope baskets are another one of my favorite products. I’ve actually had them for years but just got a couple more for organizing so everything matched. They come in multiple sizes (here and here) and are great for storing some of the eye-sore items that don’t really have a good spot otherwise. Not just for kids’ bedrooms either! Great for linen closets, pantries, toy rooms, family room. Great price point too!

We love cinnamon rolls and I’ve gone through tons of recipes trying to find our favorite and I promise this one won’t disappoint. One of my favorite parts is the cream because even if you mess up and make the dough a little too dry (like I did the first time I made) it brings moisture back in and makes them super soft! I got a big part of the cinnamon roll part from this Cinnabon recipe on Tastes of Lizzy T but tweaked a few things like the frosting. The frosting is Cody’s recipe he has made since we first got married.  So below is our version of the recipe for our family favorite cinnamon rolls! I hope you guys love them!

The below recipe is for 12 rolls. I will either double or do 1.5 because we eat them for a week. I personally think they are WAY better if you bake them, frost them, stick them in the freezer, and then warm them up in the microwave. I don’t even eat one when they come fresh out of the oven because I think in the freezer the frosting melts in or something. I don’t know… they just taste better. Also it makes it really great if you want to make for a birthday or Christmas breakfast you don’t have to wake up way early to do it, you can make them the day before.

INGREDIENTS (serves 12):

Dough:

1 cup warm milk (110° degrees)

 2 1/2 teaspoons instant dry yeast

2 large eggs (room temp)

1/3 cup salted butter (I set mine out in the morning so it’s room temp and soft, if you forget just barely melt it, if you melt it all the way it won’t turn out the same)

4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (divided) **This is where my recipe differs from there. Since I’m at a higher elevation it was too much flour so I tweaked it a few times and found the sweet spot: 3 and 3/4 cup to 4cups. You want the dough to be a little sticky and elasticy.

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup granulated sugar

Filling:

1/2 cup salter butter (almost melted)

1 cup packed brown sugar

2.5 tablespoons cinnamon

1/4 cup of sugar (the original recipe has no sugar I add a tiny bit)

1/2 cup heavy cream (*for pouring over the risen rolls ) the cream is what makes the rolls super soft, I never use the full amount of cream I always just do less. If you want them really gooey then do full amount but we usually do a little more than half of what it calls for.

Cody’s Frosting Recipe:

I asked Cody for his recipe and these are his exact words haha:

1 stick of butter – thawed not microwaved –  blend butter with mixer  first (about 30 seconds until it’s completely fluffy)

Add 1 tablespoon of good vanilla not the crappy one 

Add 1/3 cup milk 

Pour powdered sugar to the consistency you want. I never measure it. We like it thicker because we freeze rolls. (I asked Cody to guess how much and he said he guesses around 2 cups of powdered sugar).

INSTRUCTIONS:

(these are pretty much their step by steps, with a couple things we added, but she has some great tips that helped me)

1. Pour the warm milk in the bowl of a stand mixer and sprinkle the yeast overtop.
2. Add the eggs, butter, salt and sugar.
3. Add in 3.5 cups of flour (save the rest and only add if your dough needs it- remember you want it to be kind of sticky still 🙂 Mix using the beater blade just until the ingredients are barely combined. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes so the flour has time to soak up the liquids.
4. Scape the dough off the beater blade and remove it. Attach the dough hook.
5. Beat the dough on medium speed, adding in up to 1/2 cup more flour if needed to form a dough. Knead for 5-7 minutes or until the dough is elastic and smooth. The dough should be tacky and will still be sticking to the sides of the bowl. Don’t add too much flour!
6. Spray a large bowl with cooking spray.
7. Use a rubber spatula to remove the rough from the mixer bowl and place it in the greased large bowl.
8. Cover the bowl with a towel or wax paper.
9. Set the bowl in a warm place and allow the dough to right until double. I like to turn on the oven to the lowest setting for 1-2 minutes. Then turn off the oven and place the dough to rise in there. It normally takes about 30 minutes for the dough to rise. Do not allow the dough to rise too much or your cinnamon rolls will be airy.
10. While the dough is rising, prepare the cinnamon filling. In a medium bowl, combine the soft butter, brown sugar, sugar  and cinnamon, mixing until well combined. Set aside.
11. Sprinkle your counter with flour. Turn out the dough onto the pastry mat and sprinkle the top of the dough with additional flour.
12. Flour a rolling pin and roll the dough to about a 24×15″ rectangle don’t overly stress about size of the rectangle it doesn’t have to be exact but you want it close.
13. Use a rubber spatula to smooth the cinnamon filling over the whole dough rectangle.
14. Starting on the long end, roll the dough up tightly jelly roll style.
15. Cut into 12 slices and place in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
16. Cover the pan and allow the rolls to rise for 20 minutes or until nearly double.
17. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
18. Warm the heavy cream until the chill is off. Don’t make it hot… you just don’t want it cold. It should be warm to the touch.
19. Once the rolls have risen, pour the heavy cream over the top of the rolls, allowing it to soak down in and around the rolls.
20. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-22 minutes, until the rolls are lightly golden brown and the center rolls are cooked through. Note… the time will vary based on how big the rolls are, what type of pan, how close the rolls are packed, etc. They could take up to 25-27 minutes. Check the rolls at 20 minutes. If they are getting too browned, cover loosely with foil for the remaining baking time.
21. While the rolls are cooling, prepare the frosting.

OUR FAMILY ADDITIONS:

22. Once Cody makes the frosting, and rolls have cooled completely, we frost all the rolls, put a piece of tin foil over them and stick them in the freezer. This makes it really easy to prepare in advance before your event or meal. You don’t have to rush day of!

23. Once they have been in freezer for a couple hours, warm them up in the microwave for 30-45 seconds depending on your microwave and they are DELICIOUS!!! Because we know we are going to be warming them up and the frosting melts a little we make the frosting pretty thick.

FLEECE ROBE – Cody always teases me about how often he catches me still in my robe mid-day haha. But there’s something about an oversized, cozy robes that makes mornings from home feel a little slower and more peaceful. I usually gravitate towards neutrals but this blue is soooo pretty in person I couldn’t resist! It comes in 5 more colors and would make an amazing gift for him or her.

THIS YEAR’S CULT-FAVORITE SCENT – Byredo’s Gypsy Water perfume is this year’s cult-favorite scent and I finally took the plunge. It’s so good! Sweeter perfumes don’t really mix well with my natural scent (although their Lil Fleur is another best-seller) so I love the woodsy/berry smell of this one. Smells so fresh! They are both kind of hard to get your hands on in time for Christmas, so if you can find it in-store at Nordstrom near you, definitely pull the trigger! Also love this Wood Sage & Sea Salt perfume for a perfume that reads more woodsy and fresh.

STOCKING STUFFER FOR HIM UNDER $20:

CHARCOAL BODY BAR – This is a great stocking stuffer (only $15) for him and it gets amazing reviews. It’s a charcoal body bar that cleanses and exfoliates. It also has a textured size that you can use to massage muscles/for tension relief.

Last winter after Ollie was born and we were spending more time at home, we got in the habit of doing a new puzzle together as a family every month. The dropping temperatures have helped revive that tradition and it made me realize how much I missed having a puzzle out to work on with the kids. I told Mara to pick one out and they chose this Disney one. It has three different puzzle piece sizes – small, medium, and large – so it’s actually designed for everyone in the family to be able to enjoy together. We also got this Marvel Monopoly game that we broke in last weekend with Mara and Wes – such a fun twist on a classic fave!

I have been dying to take Ollie to Disney for his first time (well he was in my belly the first time but that doesn’t really count ;). I ordered a few more Disney pieces to bring some of the magic home and create some of those early Disney moments until he can go in person. Honestly I think it will make his first visit to Disney even more special tying in all the memories from home. (Like these Mickey Mouse waffles for breakfast!)

They also had the cutest holiday mugs and plates! I let the kids pick outa set of holiday plates each year and I’m hoping when they are older they all take one to pass down to their kids. This year we went Disney with these matching cocoa mugs and dessert plates for each of them (this one for the boys and this one for Mara). I feel like they will be a holiday favorite every year when we pull them out! Also got this bowl-train set and can’t wait to use it for a Christmas party – maybe a hot cocoa bar with toppings or to hold sprinkles, etc for decorating sugar cookies.
