Hope you all are having a great weekend! I’m throwing out a weekend post because I forgot to publish this one yesterday.
Pregnant Brain!
So last Christmas Cody bought me this grey boyfriend sweater and it was one of my favorite oversized knits. I love when he picks clothes out for me, they always end up being my favorite items. Anyways, about a week and half ago Mio got snipped and has been stuck wearing one of those cones so he doesn’t lick his stitches. He has been a complete hellion! He either A- mopes around the house or B-gets into things he knows he’s not supposed to. So Monday night I’m sitting blogging on the couch and I notice he’s laying really weird and his stomach is all bloated. Immediately I knew he ate something! I went into my room and found my favorite sweater now sleeveless with only half the body left. No pieces to be found anywhere, he literally ate it! Poor little guy was hurting until he was able to “digest” it out.
This is my first puppy, so I never knew dogs literally ate clothes or shoes, I always thought that was just a joke!

  1. you look lovely! so cozy and fall ready!… I can’t believe that about your dog and sweater. I don’t know what I would do if my dog ate my clothes AH

stop by if ya get a chance

  2. Poor puppy! and poor you too. When my puppy was less than 1 year old, he ate half a scarf and a kid’s mitten. Expensive vet bill and many “messy” clean-ups afterwards, he was fine.

    1. OMG! Glad he is ok! It’s so scary when they eat something cause your like what is too big to just digest on its own. Those dang puppies 🙂

  3. Love this cozy and stylish look and your dog is too cute!

    Greetings from London,

  4. will be prepared heheh we have 2 and we literary had to remodel the house. moving almost all the wooden furniture from the living room cause they are nibbling on them when we are not at home. we had to place them for the time being in a empty room. While I was typing this we had to run to the kitchen cause they managed to get one of the kitchen sponges , dont ask me how, it must be the tall one 5 months that did it.

    1. the do one is the brain ( the younger one 12 weeks ) and the older one 5 months is the one who reach stuff . So yes I agree with you they cause ruckus together.

  5. That is a great cardigan! Looks super comfy. And that dog photo… aww, haha.

Just found your blog and will definitely be following. 🙂

  8. Aww poor puppy! Just wondering if you have any idea what kind of dog that is? My dog looks identical but he was a rescue so we aren’t 100% sure what he is. We think a mix between boxer & rhodesian ridgeback.

    1. Hi Alex, he is a bull mastiff. They look a lot like boxers but they end up pretty big! Maybe your puppy is part mastiff 🙂

  9. Ooh what a bummer on the sweater and maybe the dog will remember not to eat favorite items of your closet….
