Stripes are one of my go-to prints for almost any look, but don’t stop with a stripe sweater (obsessed with this one!) or tee you can build a stripe look with multiple stripe pieces. When you are mixing stripes you want to have some variation but also some common ground.

  • Color: Typically you want to keep only one color constant between patterns.
  • Scale: One way to introduce variation is playing with the scale of the print. Balance out a thicker striped pattern in one piece with finer stripes in another.
  • Texture: Another way to keep stripes from blending together is to incorporate different textures. A rafia stripe against a textured sweater keeps both pieces distinct but unified by the common print.

Below are a few more of my cute stripe items I’m loving, just ordered these stripe open toed espadrilles.

Red Espadrille Sandal
Navy Easy Stripe Sweater
Rafia Striped Sling Backpack
Patterned Lace-Up Espadrilles
Mixed-Stripe Tops
RedStripe Raglan Sweater
Kate Spade Stripe Tote
