Blue has been one of my favorite colors this season. It’s such a flattering color on everyone (especially navy). I picked up this navy peplum top (more sizes here) and planned on pairing it with this cute skirt, but opted for denim until it warms up a bit.

We all know the baseball hat is the best solution on a bad hair day, but that doesn’t mean it should only be saved for those days your hair just won’t cooperate. It can actually be a great accessory to any ensemble. Although it usually adds a casual, masculine element to most looks, try a baseball hat with a feminine print (loving this one) to dress up a look. The classic chambray floral print in this one softens the usual boyish and casual effect of a baseball cap and the color makes it a subtle detail and easy to match with other pieces. Heels and a peplum complete the look for a contrast between dressy feminine, and boyish casual.
