Many of my earliest scent memories take me back to some of my favorite moments with my mothers. I remember admiring my moms as I watched them get ready and always got excited to try their makeup and perfume. Now I’m excited to share those moments with my own kids. Mara always asks for a spritz of perfume after I fix her hair for the day. Even the boys seem to enjoy hanging around a little bit longer. I think Wes brushes his hair more than I do 🙂
I think my love of perfume has been passed down through my mothers and I love that something as simple as a scent can be so memorable. Typically I am super picky about perfumes, but I really loved both this new fragrance Untold, by Elizabeth Arden (The Red Door is really good too). I can’t help but wonder what specific memories my kids will think of one day years from now when they smell certain perfumes that remind them of their childhood and our memories together.

My favorite memory of my mom is when I told her I was pregnant on Christmas Eve 2012 with my first baby. She was so excited she screamed. She is such a wonderful and caring mom and she just loves being a grandma to her 3 grandchildren with one more on the way.
