Last weekend one of my best friends and I decided to surprise our husbands with a 24 hour adult trip to Vegas to race their favorite cars. Cody loves cars, he will sit and read about them all night, watch you tube videos of everything and anything to do with super cars! We made a bucket list when we first got married, and this had been on it so I was really excited to take him!

We rented our cars from a local company in Vegas (Royalty Exotic Cars) and they were so helpful! I know like nothing about cars so I think I literally called like 20 times trying to decide which package and cars we should do lol. We ended up doing the 24 hour rental vs. the 3 hour rental and I’m so glad we did! It would have been so rushed only doing the couple hours. They pick you up in a Rolls Royce from your hotel and take you to the dealership to pick your favorite car. Cody picked the Lamborghini Huracan and our friends picked the Ferrari 458. We raced around the whole day it was such a blast. First we went to the Hoover Dam – I think Cody had us up to 145-150 MPH part of the way it was crazy! The dam was so cool though – I had never been before and it’s only like 20 miles outside of Vegas. After the dam we went the opposite direction to Red Rock Canyon. They have a 15 mile trail you can drive that takes you through the Canyon that’s super pretty.

That night we got dressed up and went to Giada a yummy Italian restaurant that overlooks the Bellagio Fountains and the strip. Their pasta was so yummy! Order the Rigatoni it’s the best! I also got the salmon (do the sampler it’s the best way to try it all) For dessert they bring a cart full of various desserts and you get to pick your three favorites. The raspberry sorbet and chocolate chip cookies were my favorite 🙂

We had booked a bunch of other stuff to do on our trip but literally all the guys wanted to do was drive around! Cody was like a little kid on Christmas morning – just giggly and smiley haha it was so so cute! If your hubs is a car guy this is such a fun gift to do together!
