Hey guys! The kids and I surprised my parents in Montana last week and it was such a good trip. It was at my family cabin where we go every summer and it was so good to be able to get some fresh air and hang out with family. Being with family always feels like the best way to recharge!

I don’t know if it’s just living out of a suitcase for a few days or living in loungewear all summer, but I am itching to put on a pretty dress! There are so many good summer dress trends right now that are going to pass us by, haha so whether you have family photos coming up, an intimate backyard wedding, or are just anxious to trade in your sweats, here are some of my favorite summer dresses online – all under $150!

DROPPED HEMS: This dress comes in three colors and each one is just as good as the next. I love the dropped hem and it’s an amazing price point under $50!

OFF THE SHOULDER: Nothing handles summer heat as gracefully as an off the shoulder dress. I love the silhouette of this one –  showing some skin makes the polka dots feel a little more grown up.

RUFFLED UP: I, for one, have always said yes to a good ruffle, but if you worry about it being overwhelming or too feminine, try it with a shorter hem. I could NOT believe the price tag on this one – soooo good!

BRIGHT + BOLD: In a sea of neutrals that is my closet, I’m always craving some color. There are so many bold colors and no easier way to wear them than in a simple silhouette, like a dress. Love this bold yellow and I’m on a major neon streak – I could wear this dress on repeat!

BACKLESS BEAUTY: Never underestimate the effect of understated drama. I’m obsessed with all the back details on dresses this season. Love this cute tea dress with an open back. (Also can’t wait to wear it this fall with sheer tights and combat boots!)

RUCHED + READY: The ruched mini dress is probably my favorite addition to the summer dress trends line-up. It’s form flattering, flirty, and they have so many print and color combos that the possibilities are endless! This one is on major sale and comes in the prettiest yellow too.

LACED UP: What better way to update the lace trim than with a chic, modern silhouette? The high neckline of this dress paired with a short hem feels so young and elegant. Can’t believe this one is under $100!

MAXI MOMENT: Last but not least, the maxi dress! Free People always has the best summer dresses and did not disappoint this season. Obsessed with this lilac one!
